在成為瑜珈老師之前,我是一位模特兒,當時的我一直把焦點放在外表和身材,而忽略了內在的平衡和健康。在這時候的我,不只做事容易急躁不安,對自己的要求也特別高,總是不斷打擊自己,在課堂上只為了挑戰最難的體式,滿足著自己的自尊心,而忽略了身體的聲音。

幸運的是,我遇到了我的瑜珈啟蒙老師Fanny Huang 讓我更深一層的認識瑜珈。透過瑜珈專業訓練和自我精進的練習,我漸漸明白了「放慢」的重要性。

在瑜珈的練習中,慢慢地找到了內在的平衡和自信。每一個瑜珈姿勢都教會了我去聆聽身體的需求,瞭解身體的局限性,並且接受自己的不完美。這些都是模特兒生涯中很少有人提及的重要價值。

對我而言,瑜珈不僅是一種運動,更是一種生活態度;透過練習,我們可以越來越瞭解自己,培養耐心和感恩之心,一同探索瑜珈之美,並成就更好的自己。

Before becoming a yoga teacher, I was a model, and during that time, I always focused on my appearance and physique, neglecting inner balance and health. At that point in my life, not only was I easily impatient and restless, but I also set extremely high standards for myself, constantly undermining my own self-worth. In classes, I would only seek to challenge the most difficult postures to satisfy my ego, while ignoring my body’s signals.

Fortunately, I met my enlightening yoga teacher, Fanny Huang, who deepened my understanding of yoga. Through yoga and meditation practice, I gradually realized the importance of ‘slowing down.’

In the practice of yoga, I slowly found inner balance and confidence. Each yoga pose taught me to listen to my body’s needs, understand its limitations, and accept my imperfections. These are important values rarely emphasized in the modeling industry.

Yoga is not just a form of exercise; it’s a way of life. Through practice, we can better understand ourselves, cultivate patience, and a sense of gratitude. Together, let’s explore the beauty of yoga and become better versions of ourselves
