瑜珈旅程 Yoga Journey 師資介紹

We look internally in meditation. We observe our body, breath, and mind in asana practice. Asana is not only about physical postures, but it also helps us notice how restless our mind is. When our body and mind become calm in practice, we can gain peaceful strength in every subtle movement.

I love travelling. I have been to New York, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Hong Kong, Thailand, Nepal, and Malaysia. My travelling and English teaching experience broadened my horizons and made me who I am. After I started practicing yoga, I was positively affected in every way. I felt obligated to serve the public and to introduce yoga to this competitive society we are living in. So I started my yoga teaching career, because it seemed more pressing and beneficial to the public than teaching English.
I have practiced with my Indian mentor for five years. In 2008, I had my RYT 200-hour training and also went to Thailand for Anusara intensive course. I learned from famous Iyengar teacher, Aadil Palkhivala, and finished my RYT 500-hour training with Stephen Thomas. Through years of learning and practice, I have a clearer understanding of asana, anatomy and Pranayama, which are fundamental to my teaching.
