Lumi
At first, I started practicing yoga simply to build an exercise habit.
In every class, I tried hard to do each pose just like the teacher.
Until I joined teacher training that I realized how much I had been forcing my body.
The Asana came from using the wrong muscles, and some Asanas required softness first, not strength.
I gradually began to talk to myself during practice—reminding myself not to rush, to find the right way into each pose, and to feel every layer of skin, bone, and muscle.
With every breath, I learned to adjust, to observe, and to return to inner balance and steadiness.
Yoga is a never-ending journey.
It has helped me get closer to myself and see the world with more softness.
I hope we can practice together and feel the healing, connection, and energy that yoga brings.
